Photostories (up to 10-12 minutes)
Photostories communicate a narrative in a number of sequential photographs depicting a theme or event. It is not a portfolio of 'best pictures'.
Photostories may be displayed as a panel of prints with the author providing a narrative, or as a sequence of projected images with either captions or the author providing the narrative.
It is also permissible to make an audio-visual (AV) with a strong storyline (with or without captions) put to music or to a recorded narrative, or a Photoharmony sequence with a number of pictures put to music. These need to be compiled with suitable software such as 'picstoexe'.
The Digital Secretary will need any AVs or Photoharmony sequences ahead of the Photostory evening. It may also be wise to submit any other digital presentation to the Digital Secretary ahead of time.
N.B. The Photostory, including Avs and Photoharmony should be new and not in draft form, although any individual image may have been seen in the club before in another cocontext. context. Any Photostory image is reusable for any club competitions.
